"Seeing Jesus in the Old Testament"- Mondays 6:00-7:30pm beginning January 17, Jefferson, led by Becky Dye, Women's Study

Women's ONLY Study
Even when we can’t see what's ahead, we can trust Who is already there. As believers, we can see examples of Jesus' presence and assurance all through Scripture... even the Old Testament! We often think of Jesus as only being physically present in the New Testament… but did you know He was actually active in the Old Testament from the beginning? It is so important to study how Jesus makes His presence known in every part of the Bible because this will help us experience more of His presence in our day-to-day lives right now. Jesus is never absent in the pages of Scripture, and He’s certainly not absent in the pages of our stories either. From cover to cover, He's there. 5 weeks

"In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day" - Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm beginning January 25, Braselton, led by Tom Miller

Book Study
We will be reading and discussing this book by Mark Batterson.
You will look back longingly on risks not taken, opportunities not seized, and dreams not pursued. Stop running away from what scares you most and start chasing the God-ordained opportunities that cross your path. In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day is inspired by one of the most obscure yet courageous acts recorded in Scripture, a blessed and audacious act that left no regrets: “Benaiah chased a lion down into a pit. Then, despite the snow and slippery ground, he caught the lion and killed it” (2 Samuel 23:20 -21).
