Aging as a Spiritual Practice

As we age, we have the chance to mature in our hearts and souls. It's not automatic, though; and some just say, "It's downhill from here." But as spiritual teacher Lewis Richmond asks, "Do we want to just slide or do we want to steer?" In this group, working with Richmond's book 'Aging as a Spiritual Practice', we will reflect on our own lives and respond to his words. Part of our focus will be to practice putting more awareness and gratitude into our days and nights. Please secure a copy of the book in advance.

Facilitators: Diane Ullius and Mary Pike
Meets every two weeks on Mondays via Zoom, 9/21-12/14
Optional retreat on a weekend day (TBD) in January
7:00pm – 8:30pm

Soul Matters + Time to Write

This group will use Soul Matters readings as a jumping off point for discussions and writing. Members will have opportunities to write during meetings but are not obligated to share writing. This is NOT a writing critique group--just an opportunity to explore topics together and channel the conversations into inspiration for our own writing.

Facilitators: D Ohlandt and Betsy Rosenblatt Rosso
Meets first Thursdays via Zoom
7:30pm – 9:30pm
